"Hello,

We are doing great and love the house. We love having so much room. The grass is growing like crazy and has an amazing green color, thanks to the rain. I'll send a pic soon. We had a female deer around the house for the first couple of weeks, and then she brought out a cute little fawn. But we haven't seen her lately. Speaking of furry critters, we had a male goat show up on our back porch a couple of weeks ago. We tried to run it off, but it wouldn't leave. So, we eventually caught the goat and put it in a dog pen. Catching the goat was pretty funny. We asked Mike and Rhonda (neighbors/builder) if anyone around us had goats, but they said that no one around us did. So, we gave the goat to a friend that already had 2 female goats. Needless to say, our male goat friend loves his knew home.

We still have a couple of things to unpack, and most of the windows still need to be covered. But we are slowly getting around to getting everything the way we want it. The house is great, and we would like to thank you again for helping us find and get such a great house. And thanks for the informative email about mold.

"Dear Vicki and David,
We're glad to let others know about the quality of your service and professionalism, although by the time we sold the Purcell house and bought this one in Norman, we felt as if you were good friends instead of just agents in the process.

I was particularly impressed with David's knowledge about the practical aspects of a house and his willingness to check such things as whether the damper in the fireplace really worked in one place we looked at. He crawled into a dark, spidery place to inspect a well pump in another and climbed up on a porch railing to check the condition of the wiring. And to top it all, he was so irked with himself for not testing the hot water when we took this place that he actually bought us a new water heater. That proved unnecessary, and we didn't accept it, but he wasn't kidding.
Vicki never pretended to know something when she didn't. She was always willing and quick to find the answer to a question, but we thought her honesty was far more valuable than the answer. I especially liked the fact that if there was something negative about a house-whether it was arrangement, decoration, or location-she didn't pretend otherwise, but she often had good suggestions about overcoming those drawbacks, too.
Both David and Vicki were faithful to return calls and neither of them ever made us feel ignorant or embarrassed about asking questions. And I'm sure some of our questions did, in fact, reveal an outsized lack of knowledge in many instances!
Those in the process of buying or selling a home usually have enough bother already-they should make it easier on themselves by calling in the Hamilton Team.
